This app provides a lock screen widget that allows you to view who owns the iPhone.
There are different widget variants available, e.g. only the name, but you can also store contact information in 3 lines.
If the iPhone is at a party with many others, you can see directly, which is your iPhone.
The data remains only on the iPhone. Nothing is stored in a cloud, so that the data protection is preserved.
Why all this?
I once had to hand in my iPhone during an exam. All the students' devices went into a big washing bowl. When you returned your exam, you got your device back. Since many devices looked the same, you had to enter your lock code and unlock it to show that you were the owner. Bad when all devices look the same...
I could only write this exam unfocused because I always watched with one eye to see if someone could accidentally take my device.
With this lock screen widget it should be easier to find your own device again, because now you can see the name of the owner.
Because this one BELONG TO me.
It is also easier for a lost and found office to find the owner if the name is stored as a lock screen widget.
