The current way if you want to encrypt and decrypt a file or text: create an item(such as internet account item) → create new text or file field with data selected → press Save, it'll be encrypted → create a backup of that item to get the final encrypted file to use on other devices with 1LimX installed
Now with the custom data encryption tool, text can be encrypted and decrypted right on the screen. With files, just select the file to be encrypted or decrypted and select a folder to save that encrypted or decrypted file
For multiples files encryption at once, you still need to use the current way
3. Now you can authorize to see your credential master key in QR code image. If you have new devices to install 1LimX, just use the cameras to scan that QR code to get the master key
4. Import password from Chrome browser CSV, XLS, XLSX,.. file or any file with the same format
5. Free tier up to 125MB per file attachment

How does this work?
The app will generate a unique master key then combined with your master password to encrypt your data using the industry 256-bit encryption, chosen by Google - ChaCha20Poly1305.
What does the master key do?
The master key used to encrypt data is derived from your private master password. But the password is only plain text, then with the unique master key combined to derive a unique and impossible-to-break encryption key .
What happens to my data?
Your data will never leave your machine. 1LimX works entirely offline, which you can disable the internet on the app and start using without a problem. We only store your email address to check your premium status if you use 1LimX on multiple devices/platforms. In free version, we collect nothing from you.
What happens to my master password, master key?
Your master password, master key also never leave your device. If your device system has a secure storage it'll stay there(iOS, macOS use Keychain, Windows uses Credential Vault, Linux uses Secret Service API/libsecret), if not only encrypted version of master key is stored.
If the app is uninstalled or if you set up FaceID/TouchID then one day FaceID/TouchID stops working you will not be able to have access again unless you have saved these credentials somewhere else!
Is there a web version?
No. This type of application must not involve a online server to transfer back and forth your data so it is made to work offline.
And how do I sync data between multiple devices?
Moving data between multiple devices is as securely and privately is as simple as downloading and uploading a the encrypted generated backup file to your cloud storage service .
