"Constellations of the Earth"
This application is a tool to introduce the art project "Constellations of the Earth". "Constellations of the Earth" is an art project that uses the Japanese Advanced Land Observing Satellite "Daichi-2" (ALOS-2) and a hand-made radio wave reflector "Corner Reflector" (CR) to draw new "constellations" on up to tens of kilometers of land. This application displays the locations of the Daichi Constellation activities so far, the orbits of the satellites on that day, the areas of ground observation, and the arrangement of the drawn "constellations. There is also a function to switch between the viewpoints of looking down at the entire earth, following the satellites, and near the ground. You can link the direction in which you move the mouse left or right while holding down the right mouse button to the near-ground view, and adjust the position and time of the satellites moving in space by operating the slider on the screen with the mouse.
