As a woodworker, I frequently need to calculate how far apart to space pieces in a project. I got tired of doing (and re-doing) the math on a piece of paper and constantly fiddling with numbers to get the right fit. This app was born out of a need to quickly & easily lay out pieces to evenly space them across a certain length.
I originally built this for me. Since I live in the United States, I built this app using the imperial system only. However - I've since added functionality that makes it useful worldwide, by supporting the metric system! Enjoy your base 10 goodness!!!
