In 2019, Yukon mining and exploration directly contributed over $300 million to the territory’s economy. In 2021 Yukon’s exploration expenditures topped $123,659,495.00 and development expenditures contributed $85,770, 221.00 to Yukon’s Economy. There are over 100 projects with exploration expenditures and 8 later stage projects, the territory’s exploration and mining industry provides jobs, training opportunities and positive social impacts – particularly in Yukon rural communities.
