Tautasdziesmas was first launched in November, 2018 to commemorate Latvia’s centenary celebrations and included the 100 most loved Latvian folksongs. The app contains folksong music and lyrics as well as renditions of these songs. It also works without an internet connection, eg. singing Midsummer songs around the Jāņi bonfire, or on top of a mountain skiing!
A major update in November, 2020 substantially increases the number of folksongs with additional song categories.
