The junior monk Citta Hatthisāriputta rudely interrupts his seniors, and is admonished by Mahākoṭṭhita. His friends speak in his defence, but Mahākoṭṭhita warns them with a long explanation of how hard it is to know another’s mind. Ultimately, Citta disrobes.
