From time immemorial, the world has turned to India for spiritual and moral guidance. To honor India's unique role and contribution in inspiring spiritual pursuits globally, Ministry of Culture is organizing the Global Spirituality Mahotsav-2024 as a special initiative in this auspicious Amrit Kaal at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad, Telangana from 14-17 March 2024.
The theme of the Mahotsav, "From Inner Peace to World Peace" highlights the solution for multiple conflicts we face in various aspects of our lives and emphasizes the need to resolve internal conflicts to achieve lasting global peace. Peace is the most fundamental human pursuit, and the crucial element missing from the global puzzle of well-being. It is the foundation upon which we build a harmonious world, resonating with the theme of "From Inner Peace to World Peace" at the Global Spirituality Mahotsav.
This Mahotsav also echoes India's vision of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" — "the world is one family". This philosophy recognizes our interconnectedness and emphasises that to bring about any meaningful change, whether material or metaphysical, we must first find inner peace, as it is the foundation for influencing and changing the world around us.
The venue, the Headquarters of Heartfulness, houses the world's largest meditation hall. Kanha has the best infrastructure to host such a grand event. Sprawled over 300+ acres of lush greenery, the Heartfulness Headquarters includes gardens, residential facilities, premium 4-star like guest houses, dormitories and resorts. Kanha Shanti Vanam can currently accommodate about 40,000 participants.
