Q: Can you provide information on the nature of this program?
A: This program is not a game, but rather an application for tracking and organizing tournaments in games where players or teams compete against each other with a single or double elimination format. It's basically a digital version of printyourbrackets.com.

Q: Is there a cost associated with using this application?
A: No, this application is available at no cost to users. It is supported through the use of advertising or subscription options. If you find it useful, please consider a yearly subcscription.

Q: What is the primary intended use of this application?
A: The primary intended use of this application is for players to organize and track single or double elimination tournaments. One player can download the app, enter the names of participants, initiate the tournament, and share the tournament ID with other participants through a common chat platform or QR code. The winner of each match can then be marked within the application, updating instantly for everyone.

Q: Can you explain the order of players in the brackets?
A: The players in the brackets are shuffled randomly using a cryptographically strong random number generator, to ensure fairness. However, players can be manually rearranged using the "rename" functionality, if needed.

Q: Can you explain the purpose of the coin flip feature?
A: The coin flip feature is used to randomly decide who should start in games such as pool.

Q: Can anyone edit the tournament?
A: The tournament can be shared in either read-only or read-write mode. The editing codes can be found in the menu by long-clicking on the QR code. The tournament can only be viewed by peopel having the reader code and only edited (e.g. to select a winner) by ones having the 3 digit writer code as well.

Q: Can I re-enable tooltips or access to camera that I accidentally denied?
A: You can clear the data associated with the app (e.g. uninstall and reinstall) to reset every stored preference.

Q: Is a stable internet connection required for the app to function properly?
A: A stable internet connection is recommended for all players who are editing the tournament, to avoid any conflicts or overrides of changes.

Q: How many players or teams can participate in the tournament?
A: Currently, the app can accommodate between 3 and 22 players or teams. Additional capacity may be added if there is demand for it.

Q: Can I view pending games and select the next winner?
A: To select the winner of a given game, tap on the bracket. To view every pending game and select the winner, tap on the empty space.

Q: Can I undo a game?
A: Yes, by long-tapping on the bracket.

Q: Can I check which game's loser will be my opponent in the loser bracket?
A: Yes, by tapping on the bracket, a red line will connect you to the bracket.

Q: Is the average time for games accurate if multiple games are played in parallel?
A: The average time assumes that games are played sequentially. If multiple games are played in parallel, you'll have to adjust.
