Join Poze:
Complete our quick profile process. Setting up your dating app profile shouldn’t take more time than your college thesis. Answer a few important questions, including which three charities you are most passionate about so that we can match you with other socially conscious singles in your area.
Find your Matches:
Check out your match feed to see local singles who are interested in similar causes that you are.
Check out active auctions:
Browse through the Auctions feed to see if anyone you find intriguing has Pozed an auction.
Bid on a date:
Once you find an auction you would like to participate in, fund your Pozey account through the App store and make a bid. Keep in mind, this isn’t eBay for dates. You will place a bid that reflects how much you would donate to charity in order to have the opportunity to meet the Pozer. The entire auction process is blind, so the Pozer will never know how much you bid. Once the auction has timed out, the Pozer will see the top 5 bidders, have the opportunity to message with them, and will choose the person they are most interested in going on the date with. If you are selected, you will be notified, you will go out on the date, and the value of the Pozeys you bid will be donated to the charity of the Pozer’s choice. If you are not chosen as the winner, your bid amount will be refunded to your Pozey account for use in future auctions.
Poze an auction:
There are two categories of auctions that you can poze; 1. Hangouts- these are less formal occasions where there is no ticket or reservation required (like a coffee date, or a trip to the dog park) or 2. Events- these are dates which have a set time and location, and generally require some form of ticket to attend. Choose the charity that will receive funds from your auction and set the duration of the auction for 1, 3, or 5 days. You will be able to see the top five bidders at any given time throughout the auction process as well as their profiles, but you’ll have to wait until the end of the auction to message them. Once the auction is done, you will have a 48 hours in most cases to message the top five bidders before choosing the person you think is the best fit to take on the date.
