ESPN.com TV (Roku TV) activation can be done quickly using just a few simple steps. We have explained it in a step-by-step method with screenshots in this post. So you can start using ESPN.com on your TV or Roku TV to watch your favorite on-demand sports channels and sports matches (MLB / NBA / NFL etc) on your device without any interruption. Let's get started.
Step 1: Create a ESPN Account (Skip this step, if you already have one)
You need to have an account with espn.com in order to enjoy an ESPN+ subscription.
If you have already signed up and have an account, please skip this step and move to step 2.
if you don't have an account, you can create a new account using an email address by following the steps mentioned in this post.
Once you've created your account, please go ahead with step 2.
Step 2: Download the ESPN+ / ESPN Streaming Application on your device
You will need to have the latest version of the ESPN App on your device to start watching your favorite ESPN Plus sports channels.
- Visit the "Apps" section or "App Store" on your device to download ESPN+ or ESPN Steaming App.
- Type "ESPN" in the search box and you will find the ESPN App listing.
- Click the "Download" button accept prompt dialogs and agree to the terms and conditions. This will initiate app downloading and once the download is complete, the automatic installation process starts. Mostly, you don't need to do anything and just wait until the process is complete.
Step 3: Logging in to the ESPN App
Once the installation process is complete, you need to click on the ESPN+ app icon to open the app. You will see a login screen once the app is open. If you can't see the login screen, click the "Login" button.
Enter your ESPN account details, such as your email address and the password you chose when you created the account.
After successful login, you will see an activation code on your screen. Please save it or write it down and you will need this to activate ESPN on your device.
Step 4: Activate ESPN Plus Subscription
Once you have an activation key, please go to the ESPN activation page in your web browser.
- You need to choose your TV service provider.
- Enter the activation code that you have saved in your previous step and click the "Continue" button.
- You will now see a login page, where you need to enter your ESPN account details (Email Address and Password)
- After login, your device will be automatically updated. This step may take a few minutes to complete. Depending on your internet connection speed, it may take a little longer. Please do not interrupt the updation process, as it may corrupt app files.
- Once the update is complete, you can now enjoy ESPN Plus on your device to watch your favorite sports :-)
