Typically, we all would be getting our homes ready for family and friends right now. Feels weird not to be rushing around making sure the shelves are properly arranged, the pillows are fluffed and the guest soaps are in the bathrooms (yes, that’s an important thing for us designers.) This year looks different but it will be very much worth it. And it is kind of a relief to be able to kick up your heels on the coffee table, keep the stretchy pants on all day and have that smaller stack of dishes sit in the sink for a while.
