A little more before-and-after action on day 3,456 of #nickdoesdecorating and the front room is pretty much finished.

We’re lucky enough to have two living rooms in this old house - this is definitely the colder of the two, which is useful insofar as it keeps the children out. Meaning I can come back after an hour or two and nothing’s been trashed, eaten, or dribbled on.

This is also the perfect place to entertain imaginary friends during #lockdown, or, more appropriately, a comfortable place to pass out after a night spent drinking during the local pub quiz on zoom. If Pam could figure out how to use the mute button, we’d all be grateful.

For anyone interested the sofa and stool are from @delcorfurniture with @linwood_fabric, the armchairs and window seat are courtesy of the fab @clairelangleyantiques and @colefaxandfowler, the armchair cushions from the wonderful @nushkahome, lamps from @pookylights and the Gillows octagonal table from the lovely @ragandbonebristol. Everything else from various random places I can’t quite remember.

And a big thank-you to @ritakonig for helping me figure out just how many lamps you can fit in a room and why you always need somewhere to put your drink 🥂
