Our mantelpiece is all finished, ready for Christmas! It feels so cosy in here now - not just literally now that the draft from the chimney is covered! The mantelpiece and insert were both gumtree finds for a total of £55, win. Eventually we’ll hopefully replace them with a wood burner, but this will keep us happy and cosy in the meantime!
