*Living out of the box* . . Many of you know that I am a proud fauji wife and many of you are as well. We all do realise that being a fauji wife is most exciting as you get unique exposure to many amazing things which happen only in Fauj, to name a few parties and pranks with the newly wed, dinner nights, ball room dance, raising day celebration events etc .All this exciting stuff make for the "royal life" of Army officers wives but with time I have realised that life in the Army is no ball-room dancing. It is challenging and demanding too and comes with its pleasures as well as pains. . . Packing and unpacking household stuff during posting in and posting out, usually once every two years, is a herculean task. We live out of the box', by the time we get settled at one place our next posting arrives and this cycle continues till the retirement. As for us, black boxes are integral part of our inventory.
