When you plan to sell your home, there are a lot of things to do and one of them is connecting with @leahjgrons of @hamptonandwells for a personalized consultation (on us). In general, some action items for anyone selling: - Remove more items than you think necessary for photos and showings. - Clear off all big surfaces almost completely (countertops, tables, etc). - Remove any personal photos or mementos - we want buyers to envision themselves living there. - Use the rule of three - items put together in groups of odd numbers usually look better than groups of even numbers. - Take a photo of the space and see what catches your eye and (most likely) remove it. This will be similar to what buyers will see when they first look at your listing online. - Painting walls (and cabinets) goes a very long way, and bright and airy is the way to go. White or light grey are almost always best over bolder colors. - Along with fresh paint, adding modern hardware and light fixtures is an affordable upgrade that goes a long way with potential buyers.
