The 1940s decade - dominated by WWII and the German Bauhaus Style - seems to find as its antidote warm colours and materials. This is the evolution to the Mid-century and Scandinavian styles. Designed in the late 1940′s by the Mexican Pritzker award Barragàn, Casa Prieto-Lopez, now Casa Pedegral, is the perfect example of what Studio Itaca believes is good architecture.
