Does anyone else head into the holiday season with high aspirations? Decorate every corner, try the new recipes, wrap the picture perfect gifts, line the kids up for the elegant card (and get them mailed), create Pinterest-worthy crafts...all the while...with no lights burning out? 😉 Well, here's grace to all the moms who, like me, aren't going to get it all done! I was super determined that, with more time at home this year, I would get a few crafts done with the kids. No aspirations for anything other than hot glue, twine, store-bought supplies, and a little finger paint, but we managed to do a little fun creating and I'll be sharing it all with you this week! Harrison and I made this little garland the other day and while it didn't take very long, I love how it turned out and he enjoyed that little bit of one-on-one time! Plus, he got in a little math work too (that's what happens when your mom is a teacher.)😉 I found these bell ornaments @walmart and just love the chunky wool and neutral colors. We turned them into a simple garland and I love the extra layer of cheer on our mantel!
