I recently had a friend describe my style as romantic. And I had no clue how true this was until she said it. Meaning? Okay here. I’ll let you in on my crazy. Bear with me 😉 Every room, no matter what room it is, has an essence. I will fill up each space with furniture, decor, and all it’s bits and pieces, and sit with it for awhile. Most of the time just minutes. And that room will speak. It will let me know that something just isn’t quite right. I can literally feel it. Like an itchy tag in your shirt. And here’s where the romance comes in. And the previously stated crazy... I feel it is my job to care for the home. Much like a significant other. It conveys its needs. It’s wants. And I’m here to provide. It’s not normal, I know. But it’s my passion. It’s not my “career”. It’s love. From the sofa down to the little vase on the shelf it was placed with care.
