🎄🏠🍽 I’ve been scheming up some plans for updating our living room in the year 2021! Slowly, over the past few years, I’ve added new pieces I truly love (like our ottoman (DIY), media console, vintage rug and lighting). We have a new console on its way (looking like a March-April delivery) and I’ve made a new sectional selection that would be be the last large, finishing piece to this whole room. Though our sectional isn’t bad by any means, it’s really not my style and I think it brings the space down a bit. Since working from home and spending a lot of time on the sofa, I’d love something with more fluff in it to be more cozy. Even more so, it’s not the best with our dog (anyone else have a drool worthy and licking dog?)
I’m eyeing the @sixpennyhome Ameila L-Sectional in Black Pepper Linen (a grey/blue) that will show less drool from our dog and pair beautifully with our existing pieces. It marries the modern vibes I love but also the more classic details (those sloped arm rests) to make it timeless and tie in some of my antique/vintage pieces. Also, it’s slipcovered and removeable for easy cleaning, a HUGE plus with a dog!
Now, a new sectional is still out on the table (we will see financially this Spring/Summer if that is a reality as I would also need it in a custom size (insert more dollars!))
