Finally some before and after pictures of our renovation. No idea if this is off any interest to you ! However I love seeing transformations so ‘ta da!’ Our old kitchen was very dark and thin for a good size family home, we could never understand how it was originally designed this way During the first lock down we started to talk about moving again but I kept thinking our home has plenty of space if we plan it right! So we moved the downstairs toilet from the middle of the house to the front, this meant loosing the office which we have now moved into one of the garages. The office has now given us a great size toilet complete with a pink sparkly wall and doubled the size of our utility room, Moving the toilet has allowed us to open up the kitchen. We then took the conservatory down, kept the same footprint and built a proper extension which has made the kitchen area feel so much bigger We have kept the kitchen simple and practical and given ourselves so much storage We have limited worktop to stop clutter and added in an island giving us so many drawers and cupboards. We are so pleased we have made these changes and have saved ourselves the stresses of moving!
