This time of year I just want to press the pause button. I absolutely love Christmas! I like to take in every last minute, from seeing the first decorations appear in the shops, to eating my first mince pie of the year, to seeing Harry and Molly stood by our bed waking us up on Christmas Day morning. This Christmas is most definitely not the norm. I miss having family and friends drop by and I miss (never thought I’d say this) the rush! Normally there’s so many things to organise, not this year. However, a huge positive difference is the feeling of hope. Hope that next year will be so much different. Hope that we can go out an enjoy spending time with family and friends. Hope for summer holidays away and more than anything hope for cuddles with loved ones. There will be plenty to reflect on this Christmas but plenty to get excited about for next year.
