It was the summer of 2019 and we were on the hunt for our first home to raise our new family.. 🏡👨👩👧
After weeks of browsing and lots of disappointments, I began to get restless
.
Then one afternoon in June I got a call from my agent to view a home that we had shortlisted from a bunch of others. I immediately drove up to this beautiful neighborhood in Brampton tagging my 5-month old daughter along (since my husband was at work). I stopped at the curve of a Crescent which was surrounded with lovely detached houses overshadowed by old trees, something you don’t get to see around newly constructed houses.
.
The environment brought a certain sense of peace. As soon as I got off my car carrying baby Amaira in her carseat walking towards the house, I felt this place had a character, a story and a positive vibe. It wasn’t the same boring cookie cutter concept. The old school feel mixed with newer style is what piqued my interest!
.
As soon as I entered the house, what caught my attention was the dark hardwood floor and the white kitchen which seemed newly renovated. Mentally, I was almost convinced but when I walked further ahead and saw the huge backyard with tall trees, I knew our search ended here.
We found our home ❤️
