28/8/2020 - After what felt like forever, got the keys to our new house, got our chance to a fresh start🏡 🔐 Settled in and absolutely love it -may not be perfect but it’s home to us. Now in a little town in the countryside, only 20 minutes from glasgow city centre, the beach and actually feel like it’s 20 mins to everywhere 🤣!
(defo no intention of getting a new kitchen, I mean just bought a house, dog and Christmas is just around the corner🙋🏼♀️) BUT one fine night the start button of the washing machine fell right through and when pulling the washing machine out it ripped all the linoleum 🤦🏼♀️ so boom! project kitchen started!
Quoted for a new kitchen but me being me I wanted to update it the cheapest way possible. (I saved myself £5k!!!) I wanted integrated white goods, this was the most important thing as the ones that were in the house were ancient and falling apart! With the design of the kitchen would’ve had to rip half out just to so would’ve just been aswell getting a new kitchen. Managed to find new door handles and a fridge / freezer that had similar handles so went for this and a full range of white goods the same make as I think they look amazing / modern and my plan worked I think the fridge / freezer almost looks integrated and the handles all match so well!
Absolutely love white goods from @hisense .. Oven SELF CLEANS and steam cooks. Dish washer has the KoOLEST cutlery cleaning compartment I’ve seen! My 9 year old son said they are ‘beautiful’ 😂😂😂- he is correct, couldn’t agree more!
Wrapped the worktops and tiles using @dcfit - love this stuff - it’s so easy to do and you need to give it a try!
So this was the plan -
✅ new handles
✅ wrap kitchen worktops/tiles
✅ new linoleum
✅new white goods
Only a few changes and what a difference! Don’t you love when a plan comes together? I’m mega proud I think it looks superb?!
