In 1667 John Milton wrote his famous poem the epic Paradise Lost. (Yes another one we touched on with the salivating Mr R in English Literature) the guy who used to spit accidentally with excitement when he spoke) “The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.” Can you believe all those years ago in a world far less developed than this people were being told . We are each responsible for how we perceive the reality we live in- and what we can do with it. Life was clearly no less simple then to now. We all still suffer from moments of doubt and wrestle with our inner demons ... worrying about this and that. This is social media ... not the end of the world. It got me thinking though everything is relative to what is happening in our lives .... December is going to be be a tough month for everyone but especially this year. Even here on insta people have decorated their homes already in an effort to feel better or perhaps because they just wanted too Others are worried about putting them up as they may not perceive them to be as good as someone else’s. People think about years past, think about those they have lost, compare their lives to other people’s and I’m no different.
