- Home Office reveal - So the day has finally come to show off the office! Who said blue and green should never be seen? It’s not ‘quite’ finished but happy to be able to show you all. It’s been somewhat of a labour of lockdown love. Paul’s a graphic designer and illustrator so needed somewhere for computer work and doodling. A small desk wouldn’t really cut it. We could have easily [ed. actually no, we couldn’t right now] just nipped down to IKEA and bought a perfectly decent desk and shelves but where’s the fun in that? We wanted something unique and using materials we love, namely birch ply. A few calls around some suppliers led us to R&M Plywood in Oldbury. No online ordering here but they came up trumps with some furniture grade material for us to work with. We’ll put up a full story of the process of transforming the room and creating the desk & shelves and will save it to our Story Highlights. We hope you like it? Swipe to see what the room looked like when we first moved in. Oh, and if you wondering why the random binoculars? We’ve the most amazing woodpecker and other garden birds visiting us in the garden everyday at the moment!
