This time of year last year, I was planning a massive Potluck at work for Thanksgiving. Out of the 120+ employees, each one would bring a desired dish. We had departments that teamed up and brought complete meals. We had others who brought traditional food from all over the world, and we also had amazing desserts. During lunchtime, we all came together and began the feast. We even had someone dress as a turkey. I will be posting pictures in my stories. We filled more than 6 tables with food to choose from. Everyone was saying it was one of the best meals they had ever had. I wish we could repeat it this year. Things changed so much in one year. But I am thankful for the memories and thankful to still be working at a place where we all work as a team. I am thankful for having a job that I enjoy, a happy little home apartment with my fiance, and my family healthy and close by. I am also thankful that while the rest of my family is far, they are good and healthy as well. I am thankful I have everything that I need and good plans for the future. The holidays aren't to shop all the deals, but to appreciate how lucky we are to be here and to have your loved ones close, even if it might be through a camera this year. . . .
