Well, we finally finished redoing Lauryn’s studio. So much more time spent in this room with us not touring right now. It definitely needed a lighter coat of paint, a better desk situation, and a place for all (okay, most) of her instruments. Plus a bunch of wonderful art work on the walls: photography from @kachina1961 (above the 1960s secretary) and her father (of the ancestral homeland) in one corner, a violin ink drawing by @megannoel1 and gorgeous flowers on barn wood from @suzette_la_reveur in another corner, and an original painting from Christine Peterson, an artist who had a show in the same coffee shop as us way back when and gifted us with two paintings, above the piano. So much brighter now and so much more conducive to creativity. Thanks to all the artists gracing the walls and inspiring more beauty. #homeofficedecor #supportindependentartists
