Planning mode has started at 22. What will we eat Christmas Eve, who will sleep where, is there enough alcohol, does everyone like Christmas pudding, what will my mother-in-law eat (she has a VERY limited palette)! Despite all the stresses, we will all gather around this table at Christmas and none of that will matter. There’ll be plenty of everything to suit all palettes and at the end of the day, it’s about coming together as a family, however that family may look. It could be friends who’ve become family, it really doesn’t matter because we’ll come together and celebrate the fact this pandemic didn’t break us.
