Creating quite a few foraged clouds for clients this Christmas has inspired me to add to the one above our dining room table. Originally just foraged sea kelp and dune bracken, it now has pampas, bulrushes and dried cow parsley to add a bit more texture and make more of a statement. I love how ethereal it looks and how it softens the room giving it a little sense of magic. Usually I fill the house with foraged greenery at this time of year but I am so much more drawn to a muted palette this year. Maybe its because it is more visually calming and after this year we all need a bit more calm in our lives! Anyone else going a bit more soulful and neutral this Christmas? Everything in this shot is reclaimed or second hand- I made the table using salvaged scaffold boards and found the two chairs in a pub garden rubbish pile, the bench is a vintage court room piece from @thebarn.co and the end Ercol style chair with the sheepie was a recent find at @manningtree_emporium The lovely stoneware jug on the table came from the wonderful pop up brocante at @theboulein and the wooden bowl isfrom @trinovantetrading Ceramics by @dantesceramics . ππ #foragersforever #neutralappreciationsociety #quietshadesofbrown #isolationcreation #kinshipcreativedc #diningroominspo #diningroomdecor #howihome #modernrustic #reclaimedstyle #rusticdecor #nestandthrive #scaffoldtable #cloudinstallation #floralstyling #underthefloralspell #foragedandfound #mutedtones #anaturalhome ππ
