This mini dining room makeover is the perfect example of what a stretched penny can do. With a long wish list and a tight budget this homes’ main level got new flooring, fresh paint, a kitchen update, two custom build outs updated lighting and some new furnishings. . . It’s amazing how much can be done within a clearly defined budget. We focused our efforts on the items that would make the biggest impact both visually and in the daily function of the home. . . The dining room needed a new table, but to stay in budget we played musical chairs with seating our client already had. We opted for the more cost efficient chandelier, but painted the coffered ceilings a gorgeous grey to add an unexpected pop. . .
