Our dining table was the first piece of furniture we ever built. It is sturdy, solid and level but also imperfect in many ways. We love it (and its flaws) because making it gave us wonderful memories, taught us new skills, and gave us the confidence to build other pieces of furniture like the sideboard behind it we recently made.
