…WHAT’S YOUR STYLE? . And where does your style come from? . I think your style is a combination of the various experiences and influences in your life. And the thing about style – it evolves and changes over time. And if you stop to take note, some of the elements of your style stay the same and others morph into something a little different as you evolve and age. . I love classic and clean lines generally, and nothing very flashy, but every now and then I wear a big statement necklace to take my outfit up a notch or two. This mirror, for example - it’s the “statement necklace” of the room. . I’ve had this mirror for quite a long time. Recently, though, I started thinking about personal style, and I couldn’t help but wonder why I was drawn to it. It’s so ornate and a more “flashy” than I typically like. . What drove me to purchase it? I’m not really sure. But perhaps I can attribute it to my Mamaw Esther and her love of bling! We had a connection I cannot explain. . She used to have these large fabric wall calendars that hung on the family room wall. She would sew sequins on them to create a design. . They were really flashy and I loved them! I loved her. Perhaps she was my influence in buying this mirror? I’ll never really know the answer. Now, however, when I pass through and take a glance, I think of her and it brings me even more joy than before. .
