W I N T E R ▫️ S U N S E T ▫️ The sky looked beautiful as the sun was setting tonight. I didn’t quite time it right to capture it in all it’s glory! Pesky Microsoft Teams & work getting in the way of my insta photography! Gerard the stags head has his tinsel on ready for the big day & this years tree makes me smile every time I look at it. ▫️ I enjoy this little insta home community but at times lately I’ve found some of the lovely people behind the accounts have felt their homes aren’t good enough and it feels wrong. It’s been playing on my mind for a few days. This shot was taken quickly, no styling, goalpost in garden sitting centre stage & guinea pig cage making a small appearance centre left of the image. Thing is it doesn’t have to be perfect, reality is good too. So to all those lovely fellow insta peeps - please don’t feel pressure, don’t feel your home isn’t enough, don’t feel it has to be new, sparkly & the latest trend to post a pic. Be you, do your style, snap & post sometimes, style & post others. There’s no rules, don’t be driven by likes & follows. Just enjoy building the little squares of your style. I love seeing your Christmas, full, sparse, colourful, monochrome, minimalist or Santa’s grotto. I appreciate them all.
