I don’t think I’m ever going to tire of walking into the dining room. This evening was the premiere of watching a Hallmark Christmas Movie with the girls. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit nervous. What if they didn’t like it? What if they thought the genre lacked originality or gravitas? What if they didn’t find it believable? Impossible, but still. I needn’t have worried. I gave them a quick overview/prediction. The guy likes the girl, the girl likes the guy. But they’re from different social strata. All will go smoothly but suddenly something will happen giving the guy cause to check himself & go cold & weird, before eventually realising she was the one. Cue ‘grand gesture’ and reconciliation. And the ultimate prediction that they’d kiss in snow on Christmas Eve. And do you know what, dear readers? They kissed in the snow on Christmas Eve.
