The Dining Room table is set. The final touches have been made to our Gilded Age holiday decor ... We are ready to welcome you and yours to Whitehall for the holidays! Just in time for Thanksgiving, the original Dining Room table (which seats up to 24) appears ready to welcome guests for a magnificent feast. Visitors will see ornate plates from the Capodimonte porcelain factory, Capo di Monte, Italy, ca. 1771-1834. The glassware, one each for white and red wine, sherry and champagne, are possibly from the Moser glass factory in Karlsbad, Austria. View our Stories for an up-close look. A number of other examples of placesettings, glassware and serving pieces are on display in the hallway between the Hotel Addition and Whitehall's Dining Room, many of which were originally owned by the Flaglers. How does your family decorate your table for the holidays? We invite you to share your own traditions in the comments below. Happy Thanksgiving from the Flagler Museum! We will be closed on Thursday in observance of the holiday. #flaglermuseum #palmbeachculture #thepalmbeaches #thanksgivingdecor #thanksgivingtablescape #gildedage #gildedagemansions #palmbeach #palmbeachcounty #lovefl #visitflorida #homefortheholidays #porcelain #moserglassfactory #capodimonte #capodimonteporcelain #chandelier #pottierandstymus #diningroom #diningroomdecor @moser.glassworks
