I couldn’t believe what my husband actually said to me last night. He walked in the door after work and said,”you know, I’m glad we started decorating for Christmas early this year.” 😳 I asked him to repeat what he said to make sure I hear him right. 😆 You see, my hubby doesn’t really care for home decorating or furnishing, really. Whenever I present an idea to him for the home, he usually answers with,”eh, I don’t really think we need to do that. It’s fine as it is.” But I’ll figure out a way to still get the look done and always, his response is,”you were right. This looks so much better and needed it.” The last 3 years, he’s really started trusting my design sense, knowing that it’s always worth the effort. 🙌🏼 But I was shocked to hear him say this about Christmas decor this year. I’m thankful we did start early this year. It’s been rainy and gloomy the last week and I’ve had my twinkle lights on during the day. It just helps make our home feel cozy instead of dreary. And I’ll take whatever I can get because winters are hard for me. I love summer sunshine and not the endless cloudy days.
