As was the case in many of the rooms, the fireplace in the Dining Room had long been removed and bricked over. Even when we reopened the hearth, there was nothing but a few 1960/70s tiles in there, obvious later replacements. We were so fortunate to find @ryanandsmith locally, the best place for truly outstanding antique surrounds. This beauty was an exact match to the existing woodwork, and looks like it always belonged.
