When incorporating wood into the space, another question is about how much is too much? Use of wood indoors has a relaxing effect and reduces stress markers (blood pressure and pulse rate), but if it’s too much wood, the effect may be the opposite. In fact, science is out on the amount of wood indoors that’s most beneficial to humans. Japanese researchers found that the sweet spot is about 30%-40% of surface. But we say, do what feels right for you! 💫
