Wallpaper at its finest! Tropical to the 1000 degree! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Welcome to another blog entry of Jessi’s I Love Places...featuring my close friend Lynette’s Dining Room! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She is the queen of wallpaper but it makes so much sense! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This space is the ultimate extreme with decor design but it ties together so well. Here are a few design tips I learned while visiting this space: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏠 White is your best friend - If you go with a massive printed wallpaper, compliment it with white. Whether in accent wall or furniture. It will calm the room down enough visually but your wallpaper will still pop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏠 Baseboards a Must - ensure you have baseboards that are pretty updated or painted. It’s key to create balance in the room so the wallpaper isn’t so overwhelming. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏠 Strong Lighting - If you do wallpaper, you want to see it in its best light! Windows or great chandelier/lamp should be part of the room. Nothing worse than dark room with loud wallpaper. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏠 If you believe in it! Go for it! - Lynette went for it with the wallpaper because she was sure of her design and what she wanted.
