Love this before and after! The best part about a historic home is the beautiful character it brings with it. With these original window casings, i couldn't bear to change them. So instead we sanded them and stained them a beautiful dark brown. I love the contrast and the depth it brings into the home. I am so happy that we didn't do the trendy thing and paint them white! It allowed us to keep the character of the home and lets the original wood shine through!
