>>DIY PHOTO SHELF<<
I know there’s a lot of ways to DIY a wood photo shelf but I did it the easiest way I could think of. Sadly, our master bedroom has always been the most neglected room in anywhere we’ve lived (just look at the wall before 🤦♀️). We recently got a box of old wedding stuff from my MIL that we hadn’t opened in 10 years. I loved seeing all the old special memories again so decided to incorporate them into our bedroom. I didn’t want to just hang them all up or just add a shelf so I decided to make a photo shelf to also put special things on it too. I found a nice 8 ft board & thin 8 ft trim, stained them both light to match our blue beach vibe (& beach wedding stuff) & then nailed the thin trim to the front of the board with a nail gun. I got two silver brackets that I turned upwards so they would be covered by the pictures & drilled them into anchors in the wall so you don’t even see them. I love having all the photos, seashells & memories all in one place in a really simple + pretty way 🐚
What I Used >> 1x4x8 wood board, 8 ft trim piece, 2 silver brackets, Weathered Oak stain & a nail gun
