Well decorating the house for Christmas takes way longer than it should. I have spent all day trying to clean up the mess created. There were even bits of Christmas tree that found their way into the bathroom! I always think it’s going to be a lovely family activity with Christmas music and mulled wine whereas it actually ends with the kids having a big squabble about which of their decorations is most visible on the tree and who is going to put the star on top.
